When I was younger me and my whole family went hiking at least once a year. To be honest, that wasn't something I looked forward to. For me it was mostly too exhausting but at the same time quite boring. The only positive aspects I could find back then were the view (even though I didn't know what I was seeing - I still don't to this day) and the food afterwards. (we went to a Buschenschank afterwards most of the times) 😋Recently however, I've quite enjoyed hiking with my mum and dad. I live in such a beautiful part of the world (I'll let the pictures convince you of that) and it makes me a little sad that I know and have seen so little of it.
LET'S HIKE!

TIMEOUT IN UMAG!
The most important items in my travel bag would have to be my DSLR, my polaroid camera and my phone. I hardly ever leave the house without at least one of these three items. I'm the kind of person that runs around and takes pictures of literally anything, because as soon as I'm at home and look through my photos, the feeling that I didn't take enough photos or that I missed something hits me. It's like I might forget that I've even been there if there's no proof in form of a photograph, which is stupid, isn't it? When I went to Piran in May, I took around 500 pictures in 3 days. (You can look at a few of them in my post, here)
NAKED STRAWBERRY BANANA CAKE!
As you should probably know by now, I love baking! However, as I'm baking cupcakes most of the time, I'm not that experienced when it comes to real cakes. Thankfully I did quite a good job with this one, which I baked for my dad on Fathers Day. He and the rest of the family loved it. This cake tastes so delicious, light and fresh (and no, I don't go overboard when saying that). Therefore I decided to share the recipe with you.
10 THINGS TO DO IN PIRAN! - sLOVEnia #3
A few weeks ago, from May 14th to May 16th, I went to Piran, Slovenia. Never heard of Piran before? Well, that's a shame! Even though it's already been a few years ago, I still remember how one of my old geography teachers told me about this town for the first time. We were talking about all the European countries, and when we were talking about Slovenia, he said that we definitely should go to Piran one day because it's so beautiful there and omg was he right! Since that exact moment I've been planning to go there.
But what could you possibly be doing in Piran?
PIRAN IMPRESSIONS!
I've uploaded this video already a few weeks ago, but now it's also here on my blog - just a few impressions of my trip to Piran. A detailed blogpost about my stay there is coming soon! Enjoy!
