Who would've thought that I'd be writing a favourites post one day? Definitely not me!
But here I am, doing exactly that and I hope you enjoy reading about my monthly favorites from now on. Even though I can't guarantee that there will be one every single month, but I'll try my best if you enjoy reading them.
In the last 29 days I've been to the cinema twice, which is quite untypical for me as I don't like going to the cinema much. Just the idea of having to sit still for let's say two hours and do nothing except watch that film and eat popcorn/nachos isn't really for me. No matter how good the film may be, I normally think something like "When's it over again?" about half an hour into it. But I haven't had that thought in both films I was in - Sisters & Deadpool. (If you click on the names you can watch the trailers :b)
I've been searching for a concealer to cover my dark under-eye circles for aaaages now and I honestly don't want to spend a crazy amount of money on one, so I got a rather cheap one from Dm and it's the Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer (waterproof) and I genuinely like this one.
When I was in Dm I also looked for a new foundation because I was running out of my old one soon, so I picked up the FIT me! foundation by Maybelline New York in the shade 120. This was the lightest one they had, but it's still a teeny tiny bit too dark for me. I then found out that there actually are two lighter shades - 115 and 110. So I'll pick one of these up very soon, I guess and maybe just save the 120 for summer. Having said that, I really like the consistency and the coverage of that foundation.
Another product on my favorites list is my Overnight repair treatment for split and repair by Satinique. I started applying this to my hair-ends (nearly) every night now before going to bed and I feel like it already helped.
Those of you who read my New Years resolutions (read here) know that I wanted to read more this year, so I kind of had to include at least one book here, right? And it's Everyday by David Levithan. I don't want to give away too much, but it's basically about 'A' who wakes up in a different body everyday, living that persons life for only one day. It's always been that way. However, one day he meets that girl and falls in love with her.
I couldn't lay that book down, I even took it to work with me so I could go on reading during my breaks. ;)
Another book that this list wouldn't be complete without is my 'The 52 Lists project'. I've been posting about this on all my social media accounts and recently also wrote a post about it (read here). I'm a huge list lover and I always want to become a better me and I also want to achieve and work for my dreams, and if those things fit for you as well, then you'd probably love this book as much as me.
Last but not least on my February favourites list (see, I love lists :b) are my Bilou products. There's also a review about these if you want to know more, which you can read here.
But to put it in a nutshell, it's a shower foam and I really like it.
What have you been loving in February? Tell me about your favourites or leave me a link if you've wrote a blog post about it in the comments below! :)
